Learn how to research the history of your house or street, or the people that lived there long ago. Local schools will benefit from workshops on the history of the area and artefact handling sessions. Residents will be invited to have finds from their gardens identified.

Publication

- In conclusion of the project, this website will be developed further and a trail leaflet is being produced, and local people will have the opportunity to contribute to a booklet on the history of the area, drawing on their own research and experiences of the previous two years’ activities.

How can I get involved?

We are eager for anyone who is interested to let us know and to join in with the wide range of activities that will be taking place over the next two years. We want local people to undertake research and have their say about the trail content and design, to take photographs, to share memories and to show off their finds!
