Winter talks
January 23rd, 2009 - The Story so Far
An opportunity to find out what has been going on over the first few months of the project, to hear local people's memories of Northwick years ago and to see the fantastic Northwick-inspired art works produced by Northwick Manor Primary School pupils alongside school artist-in-residence, Wren Miller, including a fantastic scuplture in the grounds of the school.

January 28th, 2009 - The Bishop's Pantry - Deborah Overton
A fascinating talk on the medieval landscape of Northwick and Bevere, and the provision of food to the Bishop's table from his own fish ponds, deer park and rabbit warrens.

February 25th, 2009 - Ancient and Modern Historic Maps - Maggi Noke and David Guyatt
An opportunity to discover more about the fascinating historic maps available for the area and how they have been digitised to become an invaluable resource for all, through the Northwick Manor Community Heritage Project. Includes a talk and practical presentation on the process of making an 18th century map into a 21st century research tool.
